Imposters: On the Run (Again) S2E1

Hey readers!

Thanks for coming back for season two. I've got some unorganized but interesting thoughts concerning episode one of the second season of Imposters.

First, let's talk about those three imposters: Ezra, Jules, and Richie. This episode seems to parallel to the first episode of season 1, and that's because these three are calm and collected (or at least seem to be). Maddie is attempting to live a simple life, which is what J and R were trying to do while they were recovering from Maddie's home-wrecking tendencies during season one. While Maddie is still an imposter in some ways (living with a fake name, lying about her purpose for moving to locals), she's not doing anything nearly as terrible as the crimes she committed in season one. On the flip side, E, J, and R are getting deeper into their thievery, and at this point I'm not sure if there's a way out for them. I feel like they're in too far. The whole idea of a moral compass for them has flown out the window at this point.

Rash decisions have become in their nature. They don't think before doing, and hope that they can get things figured out along the way. Richie has become the worst of the three. He does things like have sex with an old girlfriend who happens to be a sheriff, but not before smoking a joint with her in the living room of his dead mother's house. The entire group decides to flee to Mexico, but the situation only escalates when Richie leaves the 1.5-million dollar ring back in Scottsdale. Richie seems to be the worst of the three, but I think he'll hit a low point soon, and maybe even a depressive state.

Also, Lenny Cohen's ex-husband? SO many questions. Does he work for the Doctor? Does he have something against the Doctor? Is he there to help or hurt Maddie? If he doesn't work for the Doctor, who does he work for?

That's all for now.

Thanks for reading,
